Description: The campus wireless network will undergo a brief disruption this morning (3/12/2015) to allow for a maintenance upgrade. This upgrade will resolve an issue with some users getting limited Internet connectivity in their dorm rooms.
The update window is from 2 am to 3 am, however, the disruption should be brief.
Service(s) Impacted: Campus Network
Workarounds: Ethernet connections will still work during this time. Please note that you may need to register in Gatekeeper once more if you connect via ethernet -- you do not need to replace your wireless registration; be sure to press the "Add New 4 Month Lease" button once logged in to Gatekeeper. If you need assistance with this, please call the Help Desk at 253-535-7525.
Estimated Time to Resolution or Next Update: 2am - 3am
Root Cause / Continuous Improvement: Firmware update to resolve an intermittent issue with some access points.
