This email is most definitely fraudulent, and should be marked as SPAM or phishing in your inbox to help Google identify these as fraudulent and begin to block them. UPDATE: System maintenance has ended, and authentication service should be available without disruption at this point.

Description: On Friday, January 27 at 12:00 PM, maintenance will be performed on the PLU ePass Login System. The maintenance is expected to last approximately 15 minutes. There will be intermittent disruptions to the login service during this time. However, users who are already logged in to web-based services will experience no disruptions, for the most part.
