Description: Durring this period currently connected devices will likely stay connected, but may become disconnected for a short period of time.  Devices that have not been connected may not be able to establish a connection.  Disconnecting and reconnecting may be necessary after the maintenance window.  Devices connected to eduroam at remote institutions may not me able to connect.

WHAT: PLU Internet Connection Planned Maintenance

WHERE: Internet Service In & Out of Campus including VPN

Current Status: Closed

Description: In order to maintain the security and reliability of internet service to campus, Information & Technology Services will be performing maintenance on equipment supporting our campus Internet service.  This could cause disruptions to our Internet service, including VPN services.  Every effort will be made to minimize the disruption during the maintenance period, but users may notice a series of disruptions typically lasting a few minutes each time during the maintenance period.

Unplanned Disruption to Various Services due to AWS (Amazon Web Services) failure - Wednesday, December 15, 2021 8:00 AM

WHAT: Unplanned Disruption to Various Services due to AWS (Amazon Web Services) failure 

WHEN: 12/15/2021 Duration: Beginning around 7:30am

Current Status: Resolved

Description: Duo, the service that PLU uses for multi-factor authentication that allows access to many PLU services, has reported that they have been experiencing a network connectivity issue this morning that is affecting access to their services.  Shortly after 8:00am, login services appear to have been restored and working properly; however, Duo is reporting that they are continuing to work towards full recovery.

***UPDATE***
12/15/2021 - 8:30AM: Amazon Web Services (and Duo) have reported that the connectivity issue has been resolved and access to their services are now functioning normally.

Description:  **UPDATE:  The Banner maintenance scheduled for Sunday, December 12, 2021 has been completed.  All Banner services are once again available. 

All Banner Services will be unavailable Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 5:00am-11:00am for scheduled maintenance. This post will be updated as soon as our work is complete and services are once again available.
