Description: On Friday, February 19, system maintenance will be performed from 6:00am to 7:30am (US Pacific Time) on servers that host Sakai (sakai.plu.edu) and PLU Search & Directory (search.plu.edu). Consequently, these web services will be disrupted during this interval. However, maintenance might be completed in much less time. An update to this notice will be posted once the maintenance is complete.

Original Post:  At roughly 6:00am (pst) on Friday, February 12th, I&TS began receiving notification that staff are not able to access Banner Administrative Pages.  Banner Self-Service is accessible without issue.  We are currently investigating the cause and hope to have it resolved as soon as possible.

*COMPLETE* Campus Telephone System Upgrade Planned for Friday, February 5th - 5:30pm start

WHAT: PLU Telephone Service Planned Upgrade

WHEN: 02/05/2021  Duration: Beginning 5:30pm estimated completion 8:30pm

WHERE: Telephone Service on campus and to/from campus

Current Status: Complete

Description:
Upgrade work and testing was 100% complete by approximately 9:30pm.  No further work is expected to be necessary.  If any issues with telephone services are identified please report them to the I&TS Helpdesk at 253-535-7525 or helpdesk@plu.edu

Information & Technology Services will be working with our telephone system (PBX) support vendor to complete an upgrade process on the campus telephone system.  This work will require a series of disruptions impacting the ability for calls to and from campus landline telephones.  The entire work period could last several hours, but the work will affect different campus telephone lines for varying lengths from just a few minutes to as long as the entire work period.

Workarounds: Cell phones for phone calls.
