Current Status: Resolved

Description: Patrons are receiving error messages or else being prompted for an additional login when trying to access Symptom Media.

Service(s) Impacted: Library

Workarounds: If you are on campus, you can access Symptom Media by going directly to https://symptommedia.com/ . Off campus access is still causing problems.

Update: This issue should now be resolved. If you continue to experience problems, please contact the library.

Description: Off campus access to the DSM-V is not available. On campus access is unaffected. We have asked PsychiatryOnline.org to investigate the problem.

Description:
*5:00 PM UPDATE*
All known issues affecting production systems have been addressed or are pending final verification.  I&TS will continue to monitor services throughout the weekend to confirm service stability.

*2:00 PM UPDATE*
Our work completed just before 11:00 AM this morning.  Unfortunately, a couple of systems (most notably Banner) seem to have suffered ill-effects from the maintenance work.  The I&TS team is actively testing and troubleshooting all of affected systems and expects to have normal service restored soon.  We apologize for the delay in service restoration.

*ORIGINAL POST*
I&TS will be performing a series of network equipment maintenance tasks including equipment changes as well as firmware updates on Saturday, October 20, 2018.  This work will cause intermittent disruption of connections to most campus buildings periodically throughout maintenance period including brief disruptions of connectivity from/to off-campus.

The bulk of the work, including the most substantial service impacting activities, is scheduled for the first part of the maintenance window with that majority expected to be complete by the half-way mark of the window.

The upgrade to the voicemail system was completed successfully.

*ORIGINAL MESSAGE*
On Tuesday, October 16th Information & Technology Services will be working with our phone system support vendor to upgrade the campus voicemail system.  This work is scheduled to begin at 7:00pm (10/16/2018) and should be complete in 2-4 hours.  During the maintenance period, campus telephone service should continue functioning normally for purposes of calling in/out of campus, but calls may not be answered by the voicemail system and callers will not be able to leave messages.
