Duo Multi-Factor Authentication Service Issues

WHAT: Duo Multi-Factor Authentication Service Issues

WHEN: 01/23/2019  Duration: ongoing

Current Status: Closed

Description: There is currently an issue with the Duo Multi-Factor Authentication service that may result in some users experiencing difficulty authenticating to online services. This is an issue with the Duo service affecting multiple organizations which use Duo, including PLU.

Information & Technology Services is monitoring this issue and staying in contact with Duo technical support in order to provide updates as we receive them. In the mean time, if you believe you are experiencing problems as a result of this issue, please contact the PLU Help Desk at 253-535-7525 or helpdesk@plu.edu.

I&TS Systems Maintenance - Friday, January 25, 2019

**UPDATE**  Friday, Jan. 25, 2019  6:25am.  The work on all of the systems has been completed and the systems are all back in normal operation.

WHAT: Brief interruption of several I&TS systems between 6:00 am and 8:00 am, Friday, January 25, 2019

WHEN: 01/25/2019  Duration: 6:00 am to 8:00 am

Current Status: Closed

Description: Information and Technology Services will be performing routine maintenance on several systems that will result in brief interruption of service.  The systems are the community.plu.edu (aka angelica.plu.edu) web service, ePass login and related services, and a proxy server for the Library.  Disruption of each service should last less than 5 minutes and there is no workaround.  Updates will be posted with this notice as they become available.
