WHEN:  07/10/18  Duration:  8am-4pm PT

Description:  The Turnitin service will be unavailable during a scheduled maintenance period on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, from 8am to 4pm Pacific Time. You can view the Turnitin System Status page for updates. Instructors are encouraged to modify assignment due dates either before or at least several hours after the scheduled maintenance window. WHAT: Internet Native Banner (INB) & Banner Self-Service Unavailable for Maintenance

Current Status: Work Completed

Description: **UPDATE**  Work has been completed and all Banner services are once again available.  Please open a Help Desk a ticket at helpdesk.plu.edu should you experience any issues.  Thank you for your patience.

Original Message:
All Banner related services – Internet Native and Banner Self-Service – will be unavailable beginning Friday, June 22 at noon through Sunday, June 24 at 8:00pm.  This maintenance window will allow for a significant user interface upgrade to be applied to Internet Native Banner.  During this time any electronic resources that rely on the Banner database will also be unavailable – this includes, but is not limited to, electronic payments, transcript requests, enrollment verification, etc. 

This post will be updated when the upgrade is complete and Banner services are once again available.

Description:  Turning Technologies will be performing maintenance on TurningPoint servers beginning at 7:00 am PT on Saturday, June 16, that may cause intermittent outages throughout the day. During any outages, access to both your TurningPoint account and TurningPoint mobile responding will be unavailable. Recurring library hold issue

WHAT: Error message when placing a hold on a library item.

WHEN: 06/04/2018


Current Status: Open

Description: When attempting to place a hold in WorldCat, the resulting screen shows an error that reads "Your search resulted in no hits!"

Service(s) Impacted: Library

Workarounds: Click "Basic Search" on that page and look the item up again. Then, click the "Request Hold" link.

Estimated Time to Resolution or Next Update: Unknown.


Root Cause / Continuous Improvement: OCLC is looking into the problem but does not know when it will be fixed.
