Recurring library hold issue

WHAT: Error message when placing a hold on a library item.

WHEN: 06/04/2018


Current Status: Open

Description: When attempting to place a hold in WorldCat, the resulting screen shows an error that reads "Your search resulted in no hits!"

Service(s) Impacted: Library

Workarounds: Click "Basic Search" on that page and look the item up again. Then, click the "Request Hold" link.

Estimated Time to Resolution or Next Update: Unknown.


Root Cause / Continuous Improvement: OCLC is looking into the problem but does not know when it will be fixed.
