*COMPLETE* Campus Telephone System Upgrade Planned for Friday, March 21st - 4:00am start

WHAT: PLU Telephone Service Planned Upgrade

WHEN: 03/21/2021  Duration: Beginning 4:00am estimated completion by 8:00am

WHERE: Telephone Service on campus and to/from campus

Current Status: Scheduled

Description:
Upgrade work and testing was 100% complete by approximately 8:00am.  No further work is expected to be necessary.  If any issues with telephone services are identified please report them to the I&TS Helpdesk at 253-535-7525 or helpdesk@plu.edu

Information & Technology Services will be working with our telephone system (PBX) support vendor to complete an upgrade process on the campus telephone system.  This work will require a series of disruptions impacting the ability for calls to and from campus landline telephones.  The entire work period could last 2-3 hours, but the work will affect different campus telephone lines for varying lengths from just a few minutes to as long as the entire work period.

Workarounds: Cell phones for phone calls.
