DSpace Upgrade: Mon., Jan. 22 - Wed., Jan. 24

*** UPDATE *** January 24, 12:38pm PT - The login issues with DSpace have been resolved, and DSpace 6.2 is online, ready for use at dspace.plu.edu .

*** UPDATE *** January 24, 11:58am PT - The DSpace upgrade to version 6.2 has been successful; however, issues pertaining to login system for DSpace have arisen which I&TS staff are currently investigating, hopefully to be resolved shortly. Another update will be posted by 1:00pm.

*** UPDATE *** January 22, 9:30am PT - DSpace has been restored while the upgrade process continues. This service should be upgraded by Wednesday, January 24 at 11am.


*** UPDATE *** January 22, 9:00am PT - DSpace is currently offline to begin the planned upgrade.  This service should be restored by 9:30am (if not before).

WHAT:  DSpace Upgrade

Description:  On Monday, January 22, 2018 at 9:00am, the DSpace repository system (dspace.plu.edu) will be unavailable for approximately 10 to 20 minutes in order to initiate an upgrade to DSpace from version 1.8 to 6.2. After this brief period, DSpace will be restored so that users can continue to search and browse DSpace content as the upgrade process continues. By Wednesday, January 24 at 11am, the upgrade for DSpace to version 6.2 should be complete. If you have questions, please email dspace@plu.edu.
