[RESOLVED] Off campus access to EBSCO databases unavailable

WHAT: Off campus access to EBSCO databases unavailable

WHEN: 10/19/22  

Current Status: Resolved

Description: Attempting to sign in to EBSCO databases from off campus returns the following error: "We are unable to validate your login credentials. Please contact your institution for assistance. Please note, Referring URL authentication may have been prevented by antivirus or privacy control software. [Authentication Error Code 103]" We are attempting to address the problem.

Service(s) Impacted: Library

Workarounds: If you know the article you are trying to access, please e-mail details to ill@plu.edu.

Root Cause / Continuous Improvement: A setting for signing into EBSCO needed to be adjusted, and the problem seems to be resolved. If you encounter this error, please e-mail details to williagr@plu.edu.
