Campus Network and Services Scheduled Maintenance Disruption - Weekend of August 16-17, 2025

Description:
During the weekend of August 16-17, 2025 Information & Technology Services will be performing an upgrade to core network services.  This work will cause a series of disruptions to campus network access as well as require taking some services offline during portions of the work.

The primary service impact will be between approximately 8am to 12pm (noon) on Saturday, August 16th.  During that time we will be upgrading our network core which as a precaution requires shutdown of some key services including Banner, Sakai, & Help Desk.

Continued work later Saturday and through the remainder of the weekend may be necessary and will typically involve more brief and localized disruptions to different segments of the network, but should not affect core services or general Internet service.  Generally these later disruptions should be brief for any affected areas.
